One little tip for engine break in. Before you start the break in, take the glow plug out, slowly turn it over untill you can see the piston at BDC, then mark that point on the flywheel with a permanent marker, so then after each run you know exactly where BDC is. 👍🏻

Hello thercbiker can you please help me with the factory reset settings for this engine . I can't run my engine and want to put back to normal Thank you so much

I don't know them off by heart but this is the Force 28 engine so if you search for the factory settings online you will find them :)

The two things about nitro: setting up your throttle/brake linkage so it doesn't stall. when giving brake or idle. Air you have any problem starting the rc cold, unscrew the glow plug and pull the pull start a couple times to "spray out semi burnt fuel". Put plug back in and a finger over the carb, pull 2 times to start fuel flow into the engine, it should just about start in 2 pulls if you do that. Needs that fresh fuel to ignite much easier and not have to burn off oily burnt fuel left from the last drive. If you can't start after running through a tank, your engine is probably overheated and burning off fuel from the heat, faster than the engine can suck fresh fuel in. Once you do all this, you will get a better experience than spending most of your time fucking with batteries and chargers that costs multiple hundreds of dollars if you get decent batteries and charger. This doesn't even count programming cards or more than three batteries. I haven't done it in a while, but used to drive kyosho 1/8th. Just make sure to get a good engine, because .21 race engines can often be faster than significantly bigger engines in that their powerband kicks in more like a dirt bike pulling wheelies at 30 mph across a grass field.

i bought a force .32 nitro truggy, the engine exhaust gasket is half cut and it doesnt prime the carb however, when i blow in the fuel tube it works and nothing seems to go wrong when i use it, is it ok if i leave it how it is right now? because it seems to work fine
@TheRCBiker4 жыл бұрын
If it's working then fine, you don't want any oil leaking from the back onto the pull starter though. Leave it and run it but have a new one on order!

Do you have to put the engine piston at the bottom every time or only during engine break in ?
@TheRCBiker3 жыл бұрын
All the time is a good idea :) Especially if not using it for a while. It prevents the piston from becoming seized within the liner.

Can you do a quick video on how to set the End Points on the throttle servo? I had to replace the servo for my exceed forza.. and cant quite get the servo dialed in properly.. I really enjoy watching your videos and I think you do an amazing job on explaining issues and solutions
@TheRCBiker4 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks for the kind comments. I can... But it depends what radio you're using. EPA is simply just a turn knob adjustment on many radios which lessens the travel of the servo. What issue are you having?

Hello, I need some help picking a new clutch bell. I have a Hobao Hyper 7 with a dynamite big red .28 I use it for bashing on and off road. I had a 13t Hobao clutch bell on it but every tooth has a perfect cut out from the teeth of the spur gear. Idk how that happen but it did, do you have any recommendations?
@TheRCBiker4 жыл бұрын
Hi Tony, I'd stick with the Hyper one as the clutch bells are car specific rather than engine specific, I can only assume maybe the gear mesh was set incorrectly, probably too loose, which has caused what you're describing!

@@TheRCBiker That's great. Thought as much. I've been running the engine with a bit of smoke on low and top speed so it shows that the engine is getting enough lubrication. Question about the Rovan Baja. How long did it take to arrive?

Well I got lucky and managed to grab one that was available at their warehouse in Spain, it literally came within 48 hours, I was very impressed especially with all the COVID associated delays. They sent me this truggy which came from the China warehouse and it took between 2-3 weeks I believe.
