We're starting a new series, Force-on-Force Fridays, led by former Navy SEAL Toshiro "Tosh" Carrington. He is one of our Subject Matter Experts and runs Strategic Training Operations in San Diego, CA.
For our first episode, Tosh places Myles in a militaristic scenario with some variations. We then share some tips from Myles's training with viewers.
Thanks to Strategic Operations for letting us use their facilities.

Can we get some Tosh-ism motivational posters? “You’re not in California” or “and out come the ants”. He is the best😂

Totally relevant training!! I've never seen anything so close to reality. Wish I could train with Tosh, but as a disabled vet/dad of 4... Prolly won't happen, but I'm glad this type of training is available for our nations warriors 🇺🇸💪💯🇺🇸

I think this is as close as we're getting. I met a guy at the store who ran a tactical course. One that sounded affordable on a fixed income. He said he didn't feel safe with a one armed guy operating weapons on his course. So I do my best at home. With the different laser systems now it's a lot easier. Good luck, and sorry for the book.

Question. Since this scenario has a military aspect to it, is leaving the area the right choice? Especially if doing so abandons a military vehicle with who knows what high tech equipment that is inside? Since he is role playing a military capacity instead of an armed civilian, does he have more freedom to stand his ground against those invading his space? I’m curious to know.

@GambleSTARS Amigo, the US has left a lot of intact vehicles on the battlefield over the years. Remember the Iraqi kids jumping up and down on a perfectly intact AH-64 in Iraq?

Hello Rick, Good question the scenario is really just the setup. The training value is the action💥😤💥. The realism of the make believe is never the point of this type of training. The why they are angry isn’t important until you are safe. Furthermore life is always more Valuable than equipment. Thx for posting

Hi Ricky, There is something called "dead right". Its my opinion to get off the X in most situations. There are always exceptions to that.

Am I the one who noticed that on his leather brace prosthetic on the left arm he has a picatinny rail? Which is pretty metal in my opinion

Completely irrelevant, I know, but what _is_ that vehicle? Right hand drive, looks a bit like a long wheel base Landy, but it it's a bloody odd one if it is.

@TacticalHyve

He is the driver in the scenario. As for why it's in danger, it doesn't matter. It's an exercise where the vehicle can't be used.

No you didn't. You step out of an armoured vehicle and some guys aggressively approach you? You step straight back in or shoot them. This is straight out of a military book and I played years of pen and paper dark future games and hung out with GIs being shit scared going to war knowing their training is a pile of .... It is quite important to have a precise scenario, like does the battery indicator get on and why are you actually in the area for situational awareness. Maybe these two unarmed are exactly whom you did not know you are looking for to shoot so there are no IEDs anymore in the area. All standard military training out of the book creates unrealistic scenarios which are of theoretical nature. When Napoleon spend hours on tables moving little figures on possible battle grounds to understand strategy, today we can do that at home based on a rule book even better for tactics. #cyberpunkcoltoure PS: Those two little black wholes behind the door below these windows are to shoot out from the inside, right? Just asking Stuff Sargent. #reasonswhyimanotasoldier
