Also, I wasn't thinking of buying this beast but I couldn't resist. I'm a sea bag nut, got about 8. I can see using this to carry gear for me and wife on a cruise, and collapse it down to under the bed. Which is what I like about a sea bag, but this one rolls. Also I'm attracted to the durability aspect. If I go over weight limit, I can take a sea bag inside the deployer for taking on the excess weight and strap it on the deployer as a piggy back.

Dang, I'm not in the military, but I do alot of traveling... I think I might get one because it looks really durable.

David Tevaga Not a terrible idea. Its DEFINITELY durable...basically made to handle multiple deployments filled to the gills with gear and armor and anything else youd need for combat. The one drawback id see for civ traveling might be the weight. The bag is so huge its hard to resist the urge to load it all the way up and once you do it would easily get to 40 - 50 lbs+. Thats a guess but i bet it may even go way above that. Its huge and holds a ton so you really gotta decide if you need to carry that much stuff on a regular basis. Good news is that Force Protector Gear makes many versions of this bag with similiar features but in different sizes so you should be able to find one that could work well for your needs.

Great vid. Just got an FOR46 off ebay. How do wash/clean it that you wont compromise the water reaistance of the fabric?thanks
@witkidone5 жыл бұрын
Little bit of dishwasher detergent dissolved in water and a sponge is what I used. The water resistant material also makes it fairly stain resistant so it really doesnt take much to get her clean.

Great video of deployer bag presentation. I ordered one through Amazon for a buck fifty used. It said used, acceptable. I hope it's in good shape. Do you have any advice on cleaning this bag? Like soap, water with sponge? Are parts hard to find like the rollers? How does the volume compare to volume on a sea bag? Thanks.

Have you used this for any of your deployments?

Matthew St. Onge I'm not in the military so I don't deploy but this is one of the bags that the military issues for soldiers for their deployments. I actually got it from surplus stock on Ebay. I believe i mentioned all this in the video.

Tyler London Actually I just went on the FPG official website and it's a bit hard to tell looking at the pics and on each product page. Seems they cross many of the different models pics across each others descriptions. Also I'm not sure that the designs havent change slightly year to year making it even harder to figure out what model you're getting. Mine is def pictured on the FOR 65 page though. It does have the Velcro pocket at the back of the main inside compartment and not the padded weapon dividers with snap at front and back. Also this bag can collapse when there's nothing inside though I will admit it hasn't been empty since I first got It! Haha. What I do know for sure is the bag was being sold from pallets of surplus gear on EBay and it was originally listed as a surplus FOR 65 deployment bag so that's what I call it. Anyways i appreciate the input man and thanks for watching.
