She was only gone for the first three episodes of the season (and the Brandon Gleeson and Megan Thee Stallion episodes were actually good, even if she wasn't in them. The Miles Teller episode had its moments, but probably wasn't the best. But it also wasn't a total disaster, even though it felt like it could have been. You've seen the cold opening where they pretty much make fun of the fact that SNL will probably suck because Kate McKinnon isn't here anymore, they're doing Trump jokes even though he's not President anymore, and the new cast members are bad at acting).
