But I’ll say it again pre deployment training for Mali takes place over 6 months on exercises in Kenya or sometimes Cyprus. It’s unlikely you even have an infantry battalion as your local camp and even more unlikely that it’s one of the few infantry battalions being deployed to Mali this year. The odds just aren’t in favour of your assumption. But tell me your local camp I could be wrong.

Lets hope all the expected deaths will make a difference, we have not been efficient in may years of actually helping anyone. UN has been useless. Being ex military myself, would be jumping for joy to get involved though and would want to go there. But we never seem to actually help anyone, and as we know have only made things worse for the people living there.

UN is like tourism with guns, the only times they really enforce anything is when they are "distracted", but hey at least most of the landscape there is similar to Iraq and Afghanistan the bigger insurrection problems will the large settlements and the bushland down south (Mali is a country that has lost over 83% of its natural forest and vegetation in the past 2 decades, it's getting more and more like a desert each year making an actual live case study). Btw isn't Mali a French playground?

All infantry Battalion will rotate around Mali most likely. Although there is talks of 2 Mercian being disbanded because its a light role battalion. Maybe 1 Mercian will deploy to Mali at some point. Rifles battalions too will most likely deploy in a rotation.

@@nosamsemaj9150 my mate is 1 Mercian and my other 2 mates are 3 rifles and 1 rifles, also got a mate in 3PARA and one in 4 Scots. I just can’t wait to get back in the field.

Turkey monitors their every move and looking for an excuse to launch a full scale-invasion of Greece.Greece doesn’t stand a chance without NATO support and since Turkey will have an excuse,NATO won’t be able to stop.

@@ahmetgurkan3679 dude turkey can't win over some Kurdish fighters for 40 years now, you can't even win the Kurds. You think you can take Greece? Which has tanks likes Leo 2hell, fighters like the f16 viper and rafale, missile systems like the s300 and patriot, better submarines, and many ships? Turkey is a land power, the land barrier between Greece and turkey is small and heavily militarized. You won't make it to mainland Greece. Also, Greece has the euro and turkey the lira, this alone gives Greece a huge advantage. Realistically speaking Turkey will NOT invade greece
