I just don’t think I’m this day and age, people will go into the army. There’s already loads of opportunity to travel. The culture in Britain is that they don’t prioritise their own people. Might be better under a different regime.

There is no evidence. The ideology that this bloke wants to force everyone to adopt is openly opposed to evidence. ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ is a codeword for Critical Theory and it runs on Interpretivism (think ‘lived Experience’), which is also called anti-positivism. ie it is directly opposed to something called positivism. Positivism is the school of thought that gives preponderance to evidence, that things can be understood by reference to hard data and evidence. As uncomfortable as it might be for you to swallow, the leadership of ALL British (and western) institutions are engaged in a silent coup, seeking to ‘change the culture’ of the west via subversive control of its institutions in order to impose Critical Theory (as ‘Diversity and Inclusion’) which is Marxism/communism through other means. By ‘seizing the means of production’ but, rather than talking about agricultural machinery etc as with classical Marxism, the means of production they are seizing is the means of ‘Cultural’ production. They are implementing Marxist philosopher Antonio Gramsci’s strategy of a ‘War of position’. In order words, infiltrate institutions, play the long game with your Co-conspirators, and from within, steer the institutions from your position of power into the pre -planned Revolution. Yes, this means that this man is a subversive traitor who plays the role of patriotic military man but who actuality detests the country and patriotism and is working to realise international communism.

It`s logic mate. If you have a team that is multifaceted and has experience of a large variety, it expands your tooldbox and opens up new approaches. Furthermore, any army which draws it right to bear arms from a society which mandates, equips and fincaces it, is well-advised to ensure that it`s composition matches the composition of its constituency. Otherwise it risks alienation and thereby a loss of support.

Its all very well having 200 super tanks. But when it takes a year to build a tank you also need think about attrition. How do you replace those hi0tech vehicles during a war? Can you? All it takes is 200 cheep drones and 200 tanks are gone. Do we have a back plan for when that happens?

@Disinterested-jg6pw since the draw down from Op HERRICK, the Army has taken a back seat to the RAF and RN. Only UKSF are actively engaged. The politicians prefer it that way as it means they don't have to declare their presence. Hence the likes of Sanders spend a lot of time trying to justify spending and convince a force with generally low morale that the sacrifices they make are worth it. Basically, the Army needs a fight.

When military veterans leave the ‘institutionalised’ forces environment, they can either grow out of the mindset altogether and see the world in a different political light or carry on thinking in the same military way. Rather than examining the real geopolitical causes of military conflict today, it's obvious why some current military chiefs will always politically play up the military threat because it's what their military careers have always depended on. General Sanders, by suggesting a ‘civilian’ Mk 2 ‘conscription’ military is merely stating his own political opinion and in my view is contravening the so called political neutrality of the Armed Forces. If he wants to go into politics then that's his right. After all how many times do critics of Gary Lineker wrongly accuse him of abusing his BBC status merely because he writes tweets in his own name? This General is using his own name and rank as a member of HMF to air his political view.

Action Required: Status of Vladivostok Post Putin. Background: Upon the fall of the USSR, Russian leader approached Akio Morita, Sony founder, cuz you can't have a successful economy without manufacturing. Akio dismissed the Russian President with the observation of Russian contributions to civilization and world economy but systemic problems in Russia. Akio was right, as Post Putin demonstrates, BUT PAX EUROAMERICAS is a complicated molecule like DNA and PRC China manufacturing genius and eastern Russian resources could be a match made in Heaven for everybody. If PRC China had great access to eastern Russian resources, if Russian oligarchs, had legal rights in Beijing, the whole world could advance youthfulness and longevity through our science, and peace of prosperity like never known in the history our species. South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Viet Nam, Phillipines could enjoy Freedom of the Seas and the beautiful Han people could continue their economy. Together we could address man made and cyclical climate change and other cyclical problems. Besides, PRC China might have a valid legal claim to reclaim Vladivostok. Please check cuz I'm not an expert
