Honestly, the best defence if you feel trapped and controlled- which is a very wise thing to recognise, Kelly, is to save as much money as possible, so you can always walk away if you need to. No matter how little it is to start with, it gets addictive. And money buys freedom and that is happiness. Uff, a bit heavy. But I feel that I want to be honest with you.

Mhmmmm. That’s exactly why I have been contemplating leaving. I have fun most days but that heavy feeling of being trapped is on my mind. I’ve been looking outside the city in the suburbs of Jersey. Balance is what’s missing when you go full-time as a creator!!! I need to take a break but can’t afford to at my rate plus I made my life super expensive and that is my fault lol. Now I feel spoiled and I can’t function without pounds of tiramisu and a doorman to give the weekly gossip to. I could afford to take breaks all the time when I was down south but I was not stimulated. The key here is ✨balance✨ it’s probably wise to stay in the area here but just go find a dramatically cheaper place and come in as needed and go as needed

My close friend and I have been working on a business plan for a year now and in order for me to pursue it and introduce a new stream of income and a new part of my life it’s gonna take about $25,000 of an investment. I want to do it and take a risk and do something new but I’m literally stuck constantly uploading. I’m going to have to leave. But I’m gonna look in the area instead of retreating down south because it’s so extreme lol. I was very bored.

@@KellyStamps I have read so many stories of pop stars and other celebrities falling into that trap- living so high (which I can totally understand) that they can’t sustain it if they don’t work like machines. Which sucks the joy out of life. That sounds like a plan, Kelly. Enough of what you need to stimulate you, but not the pressure to perform when you need a creative break. I‘m a musician, got into KZbin because of you when I couldn’t work during the you-know-what. So I do really understand. Now, make sure you have that Italy trip though! I did, twice this year and it was (dare I say it) nourishing. And they have the odd tiramisu there, too xxx

That homeless character is ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON: when I was a teen we moved to the big city and were warned about how people can be on public transportation, my sister in law who wasn't my favorite at the time, had this homeless person hover around, walk by making several passes, and then leaned in to my sister in law's personal space and exploded a sudden outburst scream causing her and others nearby to all jerk in fear - JUST LIKE YOUR CHARACTER did! I've spent part of my summer in Italy as a european mediterranean girl who is used to this kind of living you'll find in Italy. But since it was Italy, you put expensive on it! I spent THREE DAYS inside the house. It was even raining. I turned my hermit-introvert mode full on! It was just me chilling in the house wasting zero money and using just what I had in the kitchen to eat, talking to no one just soaking what I had been doing the days prior BECAUSE THE STRUGGLE IS REAL. I went in hopes I could make a living in there, but went back to where I was planning to go other time next year with more maturity.
