hello...after my ford aspire 70k service, car is bouncing more if i drive at a higher speed on a pothole though the service advisor advised that the shock absorbers needs a replacement...But it wasnt that bad before i gave it for service...What could have gone wrong? Some loose fittings of wheel? They confirmed they didnt remove the existing shock absorber..pls reply what could gave gone wrong

It's weird because unless someone drove the car roughly over a pothole or bump. Do check if the absorber is leaking oil

Need urgent help!! I changed my Ford Fiesta Diesel 1.4 TDCI Fuel filter. There were two sensor connectors one with 3 wires and another one with 2 wires. I bought a genuine spare. On the 2 pin side there was a seal which needs to be broken to connect the sensor. Everything is done properly. I had to struggle a bit to start the vehicle. It worked. BUT NOW THE PROBLEM is every time I have to start I need to reset the ECM which I am doing by disconnecting the -ive battery terminal and connecting it with +ive terminal for some time. Then only the vehicle starts. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do check the sensor connectors which were dismantled when filter was changed. Also check the battery terminals if they are properly tight.

Also offlate i am observing a faint sound from engine bay (i think) like "tak tak tak"(sound like paper getting stuck in between a fan blade).. This is heard only after i leave the accelerator pedal at higher speeds...what could be the issue? Engine A mount or radiator fan issue?

Yes, you have to make sure diesel is loaded inside the filter else sometimes the car won't fire up. There is no hand prime pump on the 1.5 TDCi. A few mls of diesel inside a new filter, put everything back and the car should fire up just normally.

You might need a hand pump, disconnect the return line connect a hose to the pump, pump till fuel comes out, reconnect. This wont be necessary if you pre fill the filter with drain closed.
