Did one of these back in October. Followed service information to the letter. It was leaking oil again. Turns out that you do need to put some RTV on that mating surface. Service information does not tell you too, but do it anyway. It's a learning experience for sure.

It was exactly my problem. But on my side the Pump has jammed and the Camshaft Pump Drive Coupling bolt has broke. I replace the pump and the coupling screw. It Was very fun to remove :) Your video help me thank you.

That clip you removed on the top of the vacuum pump that connects the vacuum lines from the boost controller and the brake boost line. What is that clip called and what is the part #? Thank you! Great video by the way, wish more people made videos like this

1:50 - Denso stickers on those ignition coils. I didn't know Denso was the OE provider for Ford for those - are those original or replacements?

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGEThanks for that info! It's nice when you buy "aftermarket" stuff and discover it's really just the de-branded OE part. I knew Denso made parts for several manufacturers but I didn't expect it from Ford! Especially surprised by the Made in USA on a Denso box! The ones I've purchased for Honda and Toyota were all made in Japan. I'll have to research where in the US Denso might be making stuff. Thanks for the follow up!

What are the syptoms of a bad brake vaccum pump? Having some intermitten issues with our Lincoln nautilus the front rt cailper is heating up and smoking sometimes.. Checked the Calipar and brake line are good.. Mechanic says it's ABS, haven't taken to dealer yet but dealer says they can reprogram abs or replace abs unit. I stumbled onto this brake vaccum pump didn't know it existed.

probably excessive brake from over 160km/h can a good vibrations? not sure but i had it suddenly i wonder if I could change it? cuz mine is leaking so badly...

The seal link doesn't work but may have to try replacing this myself. Ford wants $400!

Really? My 13 Fusion is at the stealer right now. They want $734.40 because the seal is bad and it's leaking oil. Literally stealing from people. 2 bolts and the intake. They make it sound like the front clip comes off.
