Ford 2600 Tractor - Testing 3pt Lift

Now that we have fixed the 3pt lift, let’s put it to the test.

My dad was a good mechanic on old Ford tractors. He would cringe every time he saw me grab the steering wheel to pull myself onto the tractor. He said if I want a column leak, keep doing that! That 2600 is coming along nicely.

Man I'm jealous! I can literally see my 3000 diesel thru the window as I type this. Still won't start, and once it does I think I'm going after the same hydraulic valve in the lift you unstuck. I've already replaced all the orings, still no lift. Started with a physically stuck lift shaft. Thought it was going to be easy. No start situation I'm having to be careful as injection pump was just rebuilt, so I'm having to wait on the guy that did that to come back over. Warranty issues. Can't get him back. But I'm very glad to see your progress! All the best from Texas!

The stop lever was stuck internally on my 2000 diesel. I think I have it all freed up but haven’t tried starting it yet.
