I had a 74 T-bird with a well worn 460 and an off brand camshaft and 750 Holley carb. 2 1/4 inch exhaust sounded so good.

Yeah that's what i wanna see more 460 in the notches.. because that's what i have 93 dual carb tunnel ram set up .im old school and love the old tricks qnd secrets on how to squeeze hp from here and there and its awesome..all motor all the time.. please pass along any or all advice on any tricks or secrets ya might have laying around..about to pull and tear down hopefully this coming week ..thanks bro good vid

Well that wasn't out of a class C motor home , clearly . In the mid 90's I had a friend with a 67 Camaro power glide . That engine was a 427 of around 525 horse power . He was running mid 10's at 122 mph . That car weighed 3500 lb . This car seems comparable, although probably lighter , 28 years later .

The mustang fox body weighs probably 2900 pounds perhaps a bit more with that size motor.

hey Brian, I run a built 460 BBF in a 67 Mustang Gt. I want to build a 351W roller motor. 460 is fun, but want a 408 stroker roller in there this winter. Much easier to work on things, uhhh like pulling spark plugs and headers, no room for brake boosters etc, lol

My 460 BBF Foxbody went high Nines at 466 cubes N/A single 4150, little solid roller,as cast Trick Flow Street/Strip Heads, C-4, No Brake, 3.90,s spool, 8.8, on 275/60,s Same Combo but at 521 cubes went 9.30,s all day long Stock Block, Ultra Reliable Pump Gas Engine.

​​@@robertclymer6948Wouldn't you want an earlier model year engine block for strength ? Like the 69-71 Windsor Blocks, over the Late 90,s stuff ? When i ran a 351 Windsor in my Foxbody for Drag Racing, i used a 69 year block my dad was holding onto for years. Aren't the later model SBF blocks pretty thin compared to the 69-early 70,s blocks ? My brother split a 84 Mustang 302 block clean in half some years ago. Just saw the "F" when you mentioned the 94-97 F block, guess you meaning a Ford Racing block or something similar.

@@badass6.0powerstroke10 Hello Brother!! Yes, absolutely would love a pre 72 351W block, for their webbing and higher nickel strength but almost impossible to fine. The "F" number refers to years (90's block). and 94-97 blocks were roller motor blocks. Easily handle 1000hp and 800 hp to wheels with no big money bottome end stuff.Dan, at NEOMustangs channel here, about to break into the 8's and running a Turbo Tremec stick car. He is an absolute authority on SBF.

Yeah but that 460 will do it for 10 years as the 347 block is in salvage after 2 or 3 years. That's why He chose the bb.

Pretty sure this is a mild built bbf. It takes a pretty stout 347 to run 10.20s all motor

It's a very mild build, a comparable built BBF will Always make more Power than a SBF, with everything being equal besides the cubic inches, Bigger Always Wins !!!
