Ford 4WD wheel end actuator fix! | Dorman OE FIX 600-105, 600-305, & 600-405

I just ordered the 600-405 today. I didn't realize these existed until I was searching for new IWEs. I replaced mine 4 years ago with TRQ brand vacuum IWE and they are starting to fail.

Mines more of a loud hum. But goes away when in 4wd. Is that still my actuators

If deleting the IWE's can the vacuum lines just be removed altogether following the delete kit install? Also does 4A (4 automatic) still operate as intended? I use this setting far more often than 4H or 4L.

Hello! You could remove the lines if you chose to. The IWE's do not control 4H/4L/4A that is the transfer case.

Hello! We have not seen anything on the 600-405 for a long term consequence of deleting the vacuum.
