Hey thanks for the video man. This is the only video. How did yours get broken? Did it overheat due to another coolant leak?

Did you use Ford injector reseal kit? Removing valve cover to remove carbon build up. I want to put new injector hold down bolt and seals on the injectors, I'll reuse the fuel lines
@JohnnyFabz7 ай бұрын
Ford OE Kit - Gasket HC3Z-6079-E This is what I ordered it came with new lines and the little o rings that go on the injector return and the oring that goes on the injector body and the copper crush washer. I think it came with new injector hold down bolts but not the hold down bracket if you wanted to replace those, FORD EC3Z-9C334-E. And ordered the valve cover gasket separate but tbh probably could have reused the valve cover gasket. Kit didn’t come with injector seal that presses into valve cover that I got separate 4 of these. Nice job. Did you pre-oil the head or somehow pressurize the oil system before the start? Seen videos on it taking a long time (8 sec) before oil pressure gets to the top of 6.7. just curious if you were worried about dry start. Again, good job.
@JohnnyFabz11 ай бұрын
I seen that video as well wasn’t to worried as I didn’t drain the oil. The only thing different from doing an oil change would be the push rods wouldn’t have oil for couple seconds
@JohnnyFabz11 ай бұрын
Also the truck cranked for a while before finally starting so that should have helped build oil pressure before it was running

@JohnnyFabz I replied above. I've just seen so many shops misdiagnosed a 6.7 with hg. I'm a diesel tech and this is the first time I've seen one fail. That honestly looks like a factory defect as it's perfectly broken. You should stud otherside. I ran compounds on my 18 on stock bolts never popped a head. Only thing I'd do is pull front cover and weld the crank gear.
@JohnnyFabz11 ай бұрын
Can I do the studs one by one like Cummins guys do? I know it’s best practice to pull the head replace gasket and do studs in one shot but wondering if it’s possible. Either way have to pull the injectors and valve cover
@lizard200611 ай бұрын
@@JohnnyFabz I've done them one by one in 6.0s. If gaskets not hurt you can for sure do that.
