Ford Cobra Jet Mustang Wins Summernationals Factory Showdown | Drag Racing | Ford Performance

Kevin Skinner kept Cobra Jet Mustang undefeated on the season in NHRA Factory Showdown by winning the Summernationals.
The Factory Showdown is one of the fastest growing classes in NHRA and features the latest race cars from the Big-3 competing heads-up.
Skinner beat Bo Butner in an all-Mustang final. Butner had won the season opening race in Gainesville, as well as the 2014 finale in Las Vegas.
Look for more Factory Showdown racing at the NHRA US Nationals over Labor Day weekend.

27 dislikes , sounds like someone is butthurt . @10:17 , I had to laugh when he said " I'd say the last round everybody was pretty much flat out " and you hear several sandbagging playing with the throttle to win by less of a gap . I dont know if all of them are on a dial in handicap ? but I assumed most were heads up . They are all screaming regardless of what handicaps they run .

Pretty cool to watch this . I was fortunate enough to get to do the repairs to don fezells mustang, the daddy warbucks, he had kissed the wall here in Michigan at Milan dragway back in 2013 or 2014. Not sure when 8t was really , but very cool to see hes still out there running and breaking records with the mustang.
