I love these wheel standing, stock bodied door slammers. Several years back I watched my first Mustang Cobra Jet run. Loud, nasty and extremely quick. The Cobra jet started Chevy and Dodge to get back involved with factory street Stock. Reminds me of the original Super Stock class. I'm a big fan of the Cobra Jet and the best racing class in the NHRA. Great video Demonology!!!!!

Not to worry, because as far as I know, in a different class of racing ( not "factory drag cars" ), the GRUBB WORM is still the man to beat. He holds the current stick records in the states, and he's running an older Camaro with an old school LT1 with turbo's........and he's using a factory intake manifold. Not only did he sweep last season, beating out all the Ford Coyote's, he's set new track records, plus he holds the current stick shift record in the entire country. Check him out. Not a Ford man but with a 460 Big Block Ford engine you could go 557 cid maxed out about with stock block. On Big Block Chevy Stock 454 block .125" over bore + .250" stroke maxed out made 515 CID Max on a stock 454 block. And unfortunately Mopar 440 CID was the smallest of cubic inches maxed out don't know the exact size but definitely the smallest.
