Hey everyone ford installed a carbon monoxide detector to detect the problem, but it is not carbon monoxide, it is Sulfur and it is only when you accelerate the vehicle and by the ways, all vehicles have cabin pressure valves or vents they are located in the rear of the vehicles hiding behind a panels, Thank you

I have a better idea, just cover the the whole rear door crack with duct tape , drive it down the road at different speeds for a day and see if the exhaust smell goes away.

I just bought a 2014 ford escape with 80,000 miles on it and here I am watching the video because I have the same issue. Literally smoke will come through my vents. This car still has a factory warranty. We all just put a lawsuit on ford and be done with it

my 2017 explorer has same issue happened. recall service center doesn't care about this issue. they told me they they are not cover 2017 model. WTF. i Will never buy any vehicle from ford. neverever.

Have a ford territory and same thing happens when I accelerate. And they just dont know how to fix it. Could be a reason like. Its probably too expensive to fix thats why they dont bother.

​@@nessin8015The vents that are on each side of the rear of the car right behind the rear wheels, there are pressure release vents that usually stay in the open position due to debris or dirt. Other reason may be the rubber around the back door, if it's missing a piece or it's broken under hard acceleration it may leak fumes into the vehicle.
