Ford has gotten crazy with over pricing their vehicles. BUT, you have to ask yourself how much negative propaganda is this? How much of the price hikes are due to logistic issues, cost of fuel, and overseas production issues? None of this is being discussed. This raising prices has got to end sometimes. Car manufacturers are pricing themselves out of business. Most people can't buy these new cars and trucks at these ridiculous prices. And it's not only cars and trucks, it's a lot of other things people want and need, not luxury items but daily necessities. Inflation may have slowed down a bit but prices increased have become the norm in today's economy. The alternator went out on my car about a week ago. I called one of the big auto parts chain stores. They told me $260.00 for a re-built alternator. Plus I have to pay the only garage in town $135.00 an hour to install it. And $75.00 for a short tow to their shop if the car won't start. Luckily I found a new alternator for my car online for around a $100.00. I don't know if it as good but I have to take my chances. I'm 70 years old on Social Security, which is my only income. It's a struggle to keep going the way things are. Is this madness ever going to end. How much longer can lower and middle income people afford to live? Instead of making everybody work overtime then slashing prices due to over production they would be Better to just run a standard 40 hour work week and holding prices even though prices are crazy high

When you're charging $60k for a F-150 the bubble is going to burst, the whole reason Ford used to be the biggest car maker in the world was because Henry Ford made cars more affordable and sold millions of them, apparently they forgot the whole business model.

The last time Ford made a good truck under one ton was 1973. The maverick used to be a car.

I bought a beautiful Ford F 150, 2008, used, with 111,000 miles. Its been bullit proof. I've put another 100,000 on it. Still solid. Price? 13,000.00. And you want to pay how much for a new, recall monster? Lol

In canada they are asking 100,000 or more for most of their models. 165,000 for a new superduty? Nope. No one can afford that. 120,000 for a new expedition? Also no... get with it ford.

A supplier parts issue forced Ford Motor Co. to shut down production of the new 2024 Ford F-150 for more than five days at both factories that build the pickup, the Detroit Free Press confirmed Friday. The Dearborn Truck Plant was down from Jan. 25 through Jan. 31, temporarily laying off about 5,200 UAW workers, Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch said. The Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri, was down from Jan. 25 through Feb. 1, affecting about 4,500 workers, Enoch said. "Production has resumed after being paused temporarily because of a supplier parts concern," she said. "We are vigilant about ensuring that the vehicles our customers receive are built with the quality they expect and we are taking appropriate actions to deliver on that commitment." Enoch declined to name the supplier or identify the vehicle part involved.

The prices are horrific. If they raise the prices they might as well shut their doors

They need to fix the problems and put them on sale.
