That style of van was very popular back when I first started driving....vans were the in thing. All fixed up inside, they were mobile party palace's.... fuzzy interiors, pillows and an 8 track stereo and you were ready to cruise chicks baby. It sounded like you had a vacuum leak and may have been as simple as replacing the gasket under the carb. Have fun in Texas Matt and be careful not to touch any cowboys hats.....

I would change the fuel line and filter as well. Along with rebuilding the carb. No wonder it runs like crap with all that crap in the carb. Wow😮
