Ford Econoline Gas Engine Oil Change

This is the process we use to change the oil on our 2002 Ford Econoline V10 van. This is the first change after installing a new factory V10 engine. We are now running Mobil 1 5w-20 synthetic oil and an OEM Ford FL-820S oil filter.
Tools needed-
16mm socket with extension
Ratchet
Oil Filter wrench
Funnel

Never puncture your filter, it should twist off, because you may not have the exact replacement

@@vantageoptics3767 oh, but you'll ruin it, you may not have the correct replacement on hand and need to drive that vehicle to get correct size

@@jurnagin personal vehicle, I wouldn't remove an oil filter without a proper replacement!

@@vantageoptics3767 I remember one time I changed oil and used a screwdriver to twist off oil filter, but the new one didn't fit, they gave me wrong size, so be careful especially if you don't have access to another vehicle
