If you have Ford car and your engine light is on and you have code P0193 we will explain what is the most common reason to fix this code and reset your engine light. When that code is preset you may experience slow start, hard start, or your Ford car may not start at all. I have the P0193 code but the car starts just fine, its probably just a bad sensor right?

yeah i've got the same issue, though i've noticed more than once that the car will suddenly lose some power, followed by the check engine light coming on with the P0193 code. Power comes back after a bit, but the light doesn't go out.

@@atortarr I replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor and it fixed it right up. That was 9 months ago and I haven't had a problem since. It was right on top of the engine too, super easy DIY

@@LS-ye5pp awesome, glad to hear it! I'm gonna try some contact cleaner on the connections first and if it comes back again anyways I will replace that sensor. Never worked on any fuel-related parts before so this will be a learning experience.

@@LS-ye5pp I've got a 2007 with a 4.0, with a tune, dual exhaust w/ X pipe, cold air intake, and upgraded coil packs. It's not fast or anything but significantly better than stock
