Ford Escape Stereo Replacement (2008-2012) Audio System Upgrade

Hi Everyone,
In this video I installed a Clarion Double DIN Headunit, an amp and four new speakers
I do Have to apologize for the Audio from the 3 minute mark and on.. the quality is bad :( I switch camera's and didn't realize the audio quality was that crappy.

I got one and all works except the Steering Wheel Controls. The canbus adapter appeare to be working because in setup I can se the values change when I push a SWC, but setup won't let me assign the buttons because the Canbus is supposed to handle that, How did you get yours to work?

I have a 2009 Ford Escape hybrid. Upgraded my radio and am having problems locating the subwoofer plug. I figure it is near the original radio. If you have any info on the location of the plug. Please share.

I am researching about putting in an aftermarket stereo from China, some of the suppliers mention that I need to have a Canbus inside.... I have a 2011 Ford Escape 2.4L v4 Limited.... Will the RAP + Steering do such that?

What year Escape is this I have a 2010 stock radio (sync) that I would like to do the same thing but keep the Steering wheel controls, your video is the best one so far from all the ones I could find on youtube Escape related, so figured Id ask that SWC you got works well?

So i am trying to power my new unit but my red wire doesnt power my unit. I have to hook the yellow and red wire from the radio harness to the car harness yellow. Did you have this problem and how did you bypass it if so?

Hi there, what happened to the other entrance? You only use one out of the two. Is it ok if I leave the other one just hanging in there? Thanks

Where is the reverse trigger wire for the back up camera located and color of wire please. Maybe post a pic where you found it... Thanks

@4:25 i used the reverse trigger that comes on the aftermarket harness that plugs into the factory harness. I'm sure if you google it, you'll be able to find a wiring diagram for the factory reverse trigger wire on the factory harness if that's all you need

so you didnt replace the door speakers. you just added an amp and a box im assuming .can you go into detail about that

If you don't install a sub do you need to take out the center consol?
