Another cracking job there Dave. You make it look so easy. Some of the Capris had not a dissimilar rear seat. Maybe a bit late now but I would have considered running some swages (I think that's the right term ) across the flat panels for rigidity and preventing potential drumming.

Hi Dave, you could spay some expanding foam between the seat and the metal sheeting to fill the gap, and give it more support. Just an idea, great video as always 👍

Its always the hidden work that takes so long to do and then it goes unnoticed. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into my MK1, but I have a VW to finish first!

You made that job look really easy aswell, and I'm sure it not just Blue Peter editing!

Nice job, they fit in there really well, come nice and close to the wheel well without overlapping. Looking forward to the infill cubby holes etc. I've just realised I've still got a Lucas Mk1 Escort headlight hanging up in my garage that's been there years, I used to use it as a lamp by connecting it to an old car battery as I have no power in my garage. Obviously you can get much better battery lighting now so it's been a long time since I used it like that. There used to be 2 but one got dropped and the glass broken a long time ago.

Just a happy coincidence as it happens, I bought the front seats, and the seller said I could have the rears for free if I wanted them. And thet fit a treat. Happy Days 😊

It fits into the clocks really well.
