A couple years late to find the vid lol, but I’m getting a 2004 f 150 and I would really like to use a USB port as an aux. Does your video apply for this?

Yes everything would apply except for the actual usb plug. That is specific to charging only. You would need to find a usb cable that would plug in to your car stereo that would have a bulkhead usb female connector. You may be able to find adapters that would fit your specific application but I would start with what the car radio needs and adapt from there. I’m sure you can find what you are looking for. Also, the space behind the radio and within the center console is plenty big and accessible to route a cable. Just make sure it’s well clear of the shifter assembly and linkage and well secured. Another great DIY video. I hate chargers in the cigarette lighter. Next time we are in Florida we might have to hire you to install one in Amy's vehicle.
