HI jase just a tip with ur cameras in ur garage make sure you install some down lights auto sensors you know just like in drive ways that way if anything happens lights will come on criminals will be seen easier theyll definitly SHT them selfs . Glad ur a ford guy i love my windsors clevos FE big blocks ur projects looks awsome

Jase I've got the Sniper and originally bought their master kit with external fuel pump. I couldn't find anywhere good to mount it as it had to be lower than the bottom of the tank. In the end, I bought a returnmless internal fuel pump and it works really well. Also I made my own 3/8 hard line from the tank to engine bay. Love your build.

Hi Jase, you need to run the 8an from the tank to the pump. Run the 6an from the pump to the front. You need to make sure that the pump is as close to the bottom of the tank, as in underneath it, as you can get it, so fuel can flow into the pump easily. The pump doesn't like to suck fuel, it likes to push fuel. Even better if you can get an outlet out of the bottom of the tank it will help the pump not to cavitate which is why they are really noisy.

I had this problem with the escort. I ended installing a works rally escort in boot fuel cell. Might be wise to run a surge tank in the boot and run a carter black lift pump. Biggest issue is the factory tank rusting and blocking filters

@@jason35177 yea I had the same problem with my XY tank, I cleaned out the tank as best I could and used a product made by POR, a tank sealer, it seems to be good a year on. Good luck, Phil. NZ

Jase those thermocouple sensors are meant mostly for turning, and people remove them as they burn out pretty fast if you just leave them in the exhaust ports long term. For Drag cars they leave them in as they are used for such sort durations but them still are replacing them regularly.

Jase , normally supply is -6 and return is -8. It’s also preferable to use -8 on the suction side of the pump and -6 on the pressure side

Hi Jase, are the heads cast iorn 302 closed chamber heads? If you're running flat top pistons you may find the compression is 11.5 -12.5:1 It will ping or suffer from pre ignition. Most run dished pistons or machine the sharp edges of the combustion chambers. Hope this helps

I'd seriously consider running the engine in with a carby. Surely someone over your way can lend one for a few weeks. The last thing you want to do to your brand new engine is wash the bores or have issues running it during your cam break in.

Jase, what crow cam are u running in the Clevo & how did u find the fit of the Chinese inlet manifold?

Hey Wayne, I have the same inlet on my XE wagon and found that the inlet needed a shave(drivers side) so that carby on the could get full throttle. If I used a spacer between the manifold and carby it wouldn't be an issue. Bolt holes and angles all seem fine so fits onto the engine fine. They do make the carby sit a bit higher too compared to stock.
