I've replaced worn-out seatbelts in a few Ford models way back. I clearly remember battling my fear of spider's while stripping belts from old cars at a Ford wreckers in Seven Hills, Sydney. This video took me back Just that little TILT TO ADJUST was enough. It's on so many different models over the years. The patience required for all these final items is high, so I congratulate you for every little thing that you tick off the list on this amazing Falcon 👏 Go watch one of your first videos of it (I really miss the 80s music playing while you're working. I hope you still do it. Bloody KZbin are too strict on copyright ©️) the car has totally transformed! I've been watching it all.

Oh yeah the memories lol. Over the fence discounts at wreckers back in the day. I can't think of any wreckers' yards that you can walk into anymore. The last one closed up singleton recently. All the other have no entry due to insurance reasons. I ALWAYS have 80s music going, and old 90s heavy metal. Shame I can't have the music goingb😑

mate you need to bolt a vise to that bench 😊 amazing how prices have gone through the roof , but 195 for windscreen is pretty good

Make sure when you put the trims on you have a good vapor barrier behind the door cards :) prolly thought of it but i had forgot many times lol

Cut a bit of 90mm pvc pipe in half. The length of your metal trims. Glue some caps on each end and fill it with vinegar. Put your trims in that overnight. Bingo.

I bought insulation from Clark rubber, $122 worth. Expensive stuff

Yeah I went with the new style seatbelts rather than get mine refurbished. With the door cards, send the new rubbers with them so they can stick them on. I ended up riveting mine on with a couple of well placed rivets that had clearance on the top of the door. There was no way I could re-staple the runners back on.

The door trims i bought from the UK for the escort have the tops riveted in 👍 Hopefully these old seat belts are ok
