Ford Fiesta Removed Silencer

Iv managed to get the silencer out and replaced it with a through pipe, the back box is a oval end un-branded rumbeler. other than that not much has changed but the new purr is perrrfect now HA! feel free to ask any questions you guys might have... Fiesta's rule!

@cording123 the mesh is easy. Just pop out the old one wit the clips (you will find you dont need to cut anything out or use glue) once you get it out look close at the inside of the grill, you will find its actually 2 bits. The inner part (with the badge) and outer frame. unlip the inside and cut new mesh to size and slide it in an just secure the frame back to the car. all you need is clippers and pliers.

@cording123 thanks mate, the grill is so easy to debadge mate dont waste money, just DIY with some aftermarket mesh and clippers. The neons will be looking awesome tho. I did like the lexus lights but after thinking about it, I tinted mine extra dark cos it aint been done before. I didnt use any tint spray either, spend time with black spray and sand paper and finished it off with clear lacquer.

Well iv done my research and iv found out that it isnt illegal as long as you DO NOT remove the catalytic converter. Other than that iv had no problems with the police. They tend to stop me over little things such as just looking like im upto no good lol or if a rear bulb is out. If i get told otherwise about the silencer I will def let you know. Ps if you want to remover yours, make sure you do it right!

lol nice one mate, yea your gota grill out the lower part it makes a big dif, iv upgraded the front doors to kenwood. the head unit is now a kenwood too. glad you like it. my engines a 1.25 16v Zetec SE.

@Dangertje Thanks mate, I made the lights using black spraypaint (the tail light spray tint doesnt work as well) sand paper (to thin the paint so you can see the lights) and clear finish spray.

@Fadzy94 Yea you will need to cut it off and weld a new one on. This wont make too much of a difference but if you put a pipe where the silencer is now, it will make the perfect sound. Also what might be interesting is getting a catback system installed. which is removal of the muffler and silencer and replaced with just one pipe. Look for sportcat's. Hope thats useful.

Yea Just cut the mesh out but leave about 3cm around the edge and bend it back in a curve so it dont scratch the paint. then just use thin cable ties and tie it on, cut off the excess cable and boom your done! lol yea too far jacked up i know, its annoying!

The speakers were a little bigger but fits in well. needed a bit of silicone around the edges to seal it off. The lexus lights would look good btw. Im just lookin for a 3,600 watt amp to power my sub. But its costin way too much. After that gona lower her to the ground lol

Lol the MOT was fine. Just a minor increase but I know the right people to sort that out for me =D. As for the 0-60 I don't know, since the engine swap I haven't had a good place or time to time it really.

mad racer from the back box, follow the pipe down and you will come to another small box. thats the silencer. If you go further down you should come to another box with a cable coming out of it. Thats the converter. Dont remove this. Just change it to a sports flow one from TurboRevs in dagenham east london. Iv used that for the focus ST.

@cording123 The grill you can do yourself mate its piss easy. Iv left a comment somewhere on one of these vid's explaning how to do it. I spent like £14 on mesh that was IT. Unless you want the boot done, personally i dont like how it looks without the boot badge. But thats just me lol. Lexus lights, hmm if they are the silver ones and you got a dark body then it may look a bit tacky, tag a vid of it to this and lemme have a look yea.
