I'm pretty sure this would show more than 150 PS on a Dyno. I've got the older 1.6 182ps and I'm don't think it's this fast, yet it should be from figures.

I've just sold my fn2 for one of these, it is a great car but it's awful off the line and going from a short shift gear box to a normal one that this focus has make me feel like I'm changing a train line. But it does double the mpg and isn't too much slower. Great car

To all those asking if it's stock or not: I have the same car bought new in 2018, and its performance is exactly the same. So YES it is stock. And I've always thought it was pretty fast for 150 hp/240Nm.

i have the 2017 ecoboost trend, advertised at 135kw, (mine is NOT the ST) and mine is an automatic 6 speed, i think it does the same, maybe mine is a tiny bit quicker to 200....but to 100 its just on 9 seconds. I test drove all the cars in this class before buying mine brand new, this focus clearly made the suburu, mitsibishi, hyundai and kia feel like a grandmas car. this focus is easily the best car for value on the market in 2017-2018.

want to buy ford focus mk4 active, and i would rather go with this 1.5 150hp instead of 1.0 125hp ecoboost, but i found some comments that this 1.5 is not reliable аs 1.0...do you have any knowledge about that? thanks!

@@pavle_b on the mark 4 it's a 1.5 ecoboost indeed, but not the same as the one shown in this video. On the mark 4 it's a 3 cylinder 1.5 engine, where as it was a 4 cylinder on the mark 3. Regarding reliability, it's too early to tell, the 3 cylinder 1.5 is a recent engine.

bought mine brand new in 2017, ecoboost 1.5 trend, not a single issue. its still like new. 80000km's on the clock and Im getting more random people approaching me in car parks and etc asking if i would sell my car. Dont know about the rest of the world, but here in Australia you cant buy a new focus that isnt an ST and the price is stupid, where as the 2017 was on the lower end of the price in its class. FORD has made a massive mistake by discontinuing the base model trend 1.5 ecoboost. it was clearly the best car in its class.

so many people here in comments claiming its not stock, i can assure you this is accurate and the aussie version of this 2017 1.5 ecoboost has 132kw and easily does this and more. as he said in some replies, these cars are weight sensitive as theyre a small motor so the slim wheels and near empty fuel tank make more difference than youd expect in a larger 4cyl engine or 6 or 8 cyl. so if youre fat you will easily slow your car down. BUT as ive said in some comments, if youve driven a 2016 or earlier, DO NOT compare it to this, theyre 2 totally different cars.

It's actually 134kW but I've never understood why it's always been marketed as 132kW. You should do a dyno test on yours then you'll see what I mean. Take care of that engine though as its very very fragile but can last past 200k km without any issues if you have mechanical sympathy and good understanding of engine technology and longevity. 3 head gaskets since last comment, at $4500 each. turns out a $12 bottle gasket sealer in the coolant from supercheap fixes it. fighting with ford over the gaskets, but i will never ever buy a ford again. the customer service is a joke, rude and demanding and even threatened legal action against me if kept publishing my emails between myself and ford showing that they deny the gasket was their fault. fuck ford to the moon. bunch of assholes@@vellymagagula6490

Well ofcourse it can reach 240kph with such performance figures if OLD Focus MK2.5 with 1.6L Ti-VCT 115HP engine did 219kph on autobahn with max speed stated at 190kph.

ths stock 1.5 150 ps goes 0-160 19.8 ..sec this car goes about 16 .. so or you have chip or you go downhill..impossible to run 0-160 under 16 sec with stock engine.. I have the same car and stock so i know what am i talking

No, honestly not. The only thing that can help car to accelerate are these little 15 inch wheels... It really doesn't have any chip or anything and it's not downhil.. It's not my car, I don't have reason to present it in better way, than it really is. :)

@@muldix I belive in you but the factory data's and other videos show not the same, I have 16" there isn't 15" for 1.5 ecoboost.. So probably don't know about the chip?! Ask the owner about it ? At this video 0-160 is about 17 sec the original is 22 it a huge huge different.. Let see other 1.5 150 ps stock ecoboost vid, you will see the difference

I guaruntee you its stock, i have 2017 1.5 ecoboost TREND, and it does this quite easily and my car is as it was of the factory floor and mine is also an auto 6 speed. if you dont think its stock, then you have not ever driven a 2017 2018 1.5 ecoboost. before 2017 myom , these focus's were garbage, (exluding the rs and st range) and should NEVER be compared to 2017. very different cars indeed. And this video says 110kw....in australia, these have 132kw, and are a total blast to drive.

I did 8.4 seconds in my stock 1.5 ecoboost 150hp Ford Kuga. Flat road, winter tyres (235/50R18). Yesterday I did 9.2 on wet road :)
