Ford Focus st225 MK3 RS BREMBO conversion kit VOLVO T5

Hi welcome back to the channel and this video we're going to be doing a MK 3 RS Front brake conversion setup on the focus st225. So in this video I will be showing you step-by-step how to install this kit. This kit was for Aaron"s car he purchased this kit from PumaSpeed. This is a simple kit to install with just a few modifications to the Hubs full Bolton on kit.
This can be a more affordable big break option this kit was about £900 as a K sport is around £1400
When buying this kit from puma speed you don't need to buy the wheel spaces that is an option for this kit as they won't fit you will need to buy some 5mm spaces from eBay that will fit behind the disk

Does everything work as it should after 3 years? Do the brake pads wear equally? I see that on the website it says that it is for focus st250 and you put it on st225, which is great. Does any other spacer center the brake disc better or is it 5mm perfect?I'm from Serbia and I'm looking for a way to improve the brakes on my focus st225.Thx

hpla friend, I have a focus mk2 1.8tdci, I want to install the front brake calipers from the focus mk2 st, do you know if they are compatible? can I install them?

Attach a 5mm spacer to remove the disc. Is it technically safe to operate?

Does the 5mm spacer have to be on before the disk or after it? Or does it make no difference alan?

Awesome work 😎 I have a few questions. What size drill did you use? 14 or 15mm? Spacer between the hub and the brake disc 4 or 5mm?

I've seen people mention both the 3mm and 5mm spacers to push out the rotor and center it in the caliper. Not sure which one is best.

Please tell me the answer to my question. I have a Ford Escape II. It's based on Focus. I don't have enough regular brakes. There is a desire to install a reinforced Brembo kit for the RS. I have three questions: Is there any effect from this kind of work? No need to intervene to replace the main brake cylinder and vacuum booster? Nice video and looks really easy to fit, however am really shocked at the cable tie method of attached the brake hose to the strut, very much a bodge, and they are HEL brake lines too!!!

Did yous not have to use spigot rings so the wheel would sit central to the hub?

no you would only need then if you have aftermarket wheels.

Yes I saw they were needed to space the discs out. But I meant where did you get the spacers from.... ebay 1's or from specific company? Sorry for any confusion.

Didnt realise that this was an option on the 225 Only ever saw the collins performance kit which used non-standard rotors In the end i chose to go the Freakyparts Megane brembos and mk2 RS rotors - bit smaller but no modifications to hubs required. Going on next few weeks
