Same thing happened to my 2015 Ford Taurus. It doesn’t matter where yours is located , mine is located in trunk behind the rear passenger seat so it wasn’t exposed to the weather they just wear out.

How did you figure that was the problem was there a way that you tested it or did you just change it

I work on FedEx vehicles and have a 2018 ford f59 stripped chasis that was having this issue, first it would run for hrs then stall out and fire back up and run for a few more hrs, then it was cranking acting like it wanted to turn over but wouldn't. so I disconnected the pigtail from the fuel pump driver module and it was full of sand, so I dumped all the sand out plugged out back in and it fired up and is staying running now.

do 1988 ford f150s have these? everytime i get to half a tank of gass it stalls and wants more gas. ive replaced EVERYTHING fuel related.

ok Goss, I have a 86 Ford club-wagon, it won't get fuel into the rail, it will bring it up to the regulator, but the regulator isn't getting enough vacuum to open the regulator , new regulator by the way,

Hello. I have been puzzled with my 2004 f150. I have changed the fuel pump driver module, and it still won't start. I have no power to the module. I have to keep turning the key on and off until I hear the module kick on. The truck will run perfectly until I kill it, and then I have to repeat the on, off procedure until I hear the pump kick on. This is driving me crazy.

Please Help! 1999 ford v10 6.8L starts, but it appears that all the fuel injectors remain open past idle. No codes. Noid on any injector goes from flashing to super bright steady after 1200 RPMs. White smoke Fuel is dumping out of the tailpipe.

My 1990 motorhome with a 460 Ford engine. I drain the fuel my put new fuel in it it would cost spit and sputter and run barely when you're pumping the gas rigorously.

I took the fuel filter off which had all kinds of gas pressure. Now the engine won't spit sputter or even try to start the inline fuel pump next to the filter I hear it come on and shut off pressured up but motor won't even try to start. What could it be next

Thanks Pat, does this apply to Year 1999/2000 Ford E250 Vans or is it just on Later Models, Trucks and SUVs. I am trying to locate the FPD module on my Van and can't find it underneath or it is well hidden. I did check relays, fuses and the hidden inertia switch in the passenger kick panel and that was OK... Van will not start, pump does cycle momentarily *2 seconds* when you turn the key.

I doubt it. They modified a lot of electrical controls around 2008-09 in basic models and maybe a few years before on luxury.

No I called and asked the dealer. They said it did not come out till 05 I believe.i have a 2002 and it dos not have it.

I didnt even know this part existed ! first time Ford owner ! My Mustang decided one day not to start.... Now im waiting on that part ! I changed my Fuel pump it started one time and now its not getting any fuel pressure... I hope this part cures my problem !

@@randallvanpernis9775 if you can hear the pump but no start, check the psi at the fuel rail. Varies dependant on vehicle. if fuel rail has pressure then check for spark. Air,Fuel,spark.

My 2000 Ford Mustang gt will start up and run good but after several miles it starts to lose power sometimes even shuts off I’ve changed the fuel pump , injectors , spark plugs and fuel pump fuse. You think changing that piece could solve the problem? Thanks In advance

My 2010 GT cuts out while driving when I press the gas, almost as if the engine isn’t getting any fuel at times. I replaced my fuel pump, fuel filter and pressure sensor and my car is still cutting out randomly while driving. Once my car cuts out I have to wait a while in order to start it up again because if I try to start it right away it only cranks. Give it about 5 minutes and it’ll start up again. My code is P0191 if you can hit me back and lmk if you fixed yours or have the same problems as me lmk. Thanks

Dorman does not make a better made one then ford . it was the location of where they mounted the part and there was no space between the frame and part
