1995 was the year that a real game-changer was launched, the Ford Galaxy. A real trailblazer as far as 'people carriers' were concerned, it pretty much redefined the term 'family car' for many people. As the accompanying brochure stated, we could all "travel first class".

@@AssumedTiger we have a pacific green 2000 (registered jan 2001 X reg) MK1 ford galaxy 2.3 zetec, shes tired, faded paint you name it. only got about 116K miles!

​@@AssumedTigerif you keep it looked after and serviced / maintained regularly with regular oil fluid and parts changes, plus regular servicing of the fuel injectors on TDI models to keep smoke to a minimum, they do last.
