You use the low side port air conditioning port to top up if you have a diy air con canister

I don’t know where it is on that model if it’s different, try looking at the air conditioner compressor and follow the pipe work, on mondeo sit is behind the wheel arch plastic

There are different connectors types available, I don’t have these myself but I have seen them before when I was looking for a longer connector for another vehicle I had
