In this video I show the steps and procedures necessary to replace and IWE or integrated wheel end on a Ford truck or SUV. I also go over the proper diagnostic steps necessary to find out why the system is not working. Ford originally came out with the IWE in 2003 with the lincoln Navigator, used it on the 2005 ford f-150, and has been using them since. The most common issue with an aWE is that their diaphragm breaks and they lose their ability to hold vacuum which partially engages the I WE to the axle creating a grinding ratchet noise. At first they can be difficult to diagnose however with the proper tools and knowledge the job can be done easily. Below are links in the description two parts and tools are use during this video.
