I had this done, flush and thermostat change but I still only get mildly warm air through the vents. I think my heater matrix is buggered? 🤷♂️

Chaz, great video, as the other comment says, Badger Tronix covers the thermostat housing change on his Focus 1.8tdci after it split. I would look to removing the water temp sensor, which is at the end of the cylinder head near the fuel filter housing, and give it a quick clean. As if it"s crusty, it could give a false reading to the ecu. Great viewing mate☺☺

Hiya mate, cheers for the info. I have changed temp sensor in an up and coming video, so watch this space 🙂

Chazz how do you bleed the coolant system of air after changing it. Or is it necessary at all on the mk4 mondeo 1.8 tdci

Did you add the diesel hand bleeding pump to the fuel line?
@ChazzCoombes3 жыл бұрын
Nope that was already there when i brought the car and next on the list to sort as i dont like the way its been put in.

It makes life so much easier when changing fuel filter i would not remove it. These are a real nightmare to bleed the diesel true

All that orange stuff is rust in the header tank, much better with a new tank, on the list to do to mine.

Hiya cheers, might be worth doing a flush of the coolant system then?
@darkwaterblue3 жыл бұрын
@@ChazzCoombes Could do, fresh coolant will help now its not water, see if it stays clean :) Keep tabs on back of that thermostat housing the seal leaks to the block, might have been why someone has filled it with water in the past.... All 1.8's leak there at some point.
