If you want to keep plastic roundings intact, never use any metallic tools. Use a zip tie etc. to push and hold the pins down.

I have a question mine is acting the same way but i notice my pump dosent make a sound so now i bought a new pump so my question is what made you belive it was the pump on yours ?

Did you find out how it isn’t starting. I’ve got the same problem with mine after fitting a new pump ?

Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t replied. I didn’t even know I had comments sorry. I’m new to all of this. I did have to have it taken via AA to a local Ford expert who re-installed the software and hey presto it is all working again. I will look for the comments going forward though
