Just had a very similar issue on a 2013 S-Max auto. Intermittent non start, no crank, various warnings, no shift lever lights. Took me ages to actually replicate it. Various U codes but non for TCM. Eventually after checking many many things I got it to fault and a TCM error code stored. I checked the powers and grounds and found 0.7v on the ignition feed. After 30 seconds the fault disappeared and all was good again, I have 30 seconds to diagnose this!!. Fault traced to TCM power relay in the engine fuse box, all feeds etc good (load tested) , but relay primary wouldn't latch in intermittently, then after 30 seconds it would? New relay fixed it ! Wanted to do a video but the footage etc was so fragmented i gave up ...lol

I have exactly the same problem with my Mondeo (2010 2.0 TDCI). Can you tell me which relay it is, number 2 or number 12?
