I stumbled across a beautiful 1965 Mustang at a service station near Gatwick airport. The owner was on his way back from a classic car show in Belgium. Very nice guy and just look at his car!
It was quite a windy day and I have done my best to muffle the sound of the wind in the video, unfortunately I only had chance to film on my iPhone 5 and not my DSLR.

As much as I love Japanese cars, there is nothing like the sound of an American V8. Funny thing is, I used to own a 72 Camaro RS and Mustangs were The Enemy. Now, as I've gotten older, I appreciate all cars for what they are, beautiful pieces of machinery.

WikdSeafood You know what, that is the most refreshing thing I've heard in a long time. Granted I do have a massive love for JDM cars (in case you hadn't noticed lol!). But I can honestly appreciate any sort of cars. I love Corvettes and Mustangs, pick ups of all shapes and sizes. I adore K cars and have a little soft spot for convertibles too!

ELP Modelling Let me be clear, however, I am NOT a fan of sticking an LS into a 240SX. I am very much old school and a Nissan should have a Nissan motor in it. Oh, and btw, I just got a Nissan Sunny pick up kit in the mail. Very nice! lol
@ELPModelling

Ok I'm super jealous I wasn't too bothered about the kit until i saw the instructions and a few photos of it!! Damn you lol! I'll put a few in my next order, treat myself for xmas :P Let me know how it builds bro, If you get it finished before I do an unboxing ill show it in my unboxing for you :) And in regards to the LS swaps, I can see the upsides to it, I'm still on the fence though you know? For example, there isn't a decent rotary tuner here in the UK, so getting big power out of a 13b is next to impossible, so I personally would get an LS shipped over to the uk and throw it in. Thats the only reason I haven't actually bit the bullet and got myself an RX7!

ELP Modelling It's going to be a while before the Sunny gets done. My daughter gave me a Motion Baldwin 427 Camaro kit a year ago and I haven't started on that yet. I might hit you up for some advice on how to do a few thing for it. Hey, I hear the Aussies are getting huge horsepower out of rotaries there. Oh, I also have a Isuzu Bellett GT model coming, too. That should be a very cool kit!

For my first car it was between a 60s muscle car or a 90s or early 00's Japanese sports car. Like a Mitsubishi 3000GT or something. I ended up getting a 65 mustang coupe with a C-code V8. The problem with a Supra or Corvette or Lambo is that there is no backseat for you to toss your stuff in so there's that.

I had a '65 red fastback w/red interior. I bought it from a good friend that had put the 289 hipo drivetrain into it. It had a Crower high lift/ high torque cam, Edelbrock Torquer intake, 600 Holley & 4.57 posi. Daily driver & racer! This was around 1971/72. FAST!❤😎 Years later, another brother that's 10 years younger, bought one that looks exactly like this black & red one,wheels also,just didn't have the side exhaust!❤ I also had a '65 green coupe that was a factory K code!❤😎👍 Sorry, forgot to say how stunning this car looked & sounds! Brings back some great memories of long ago!❤

Looks and sounds amazing. Side exhaust is cool until your motor starts spitting oil and it gets all over you rims, but they're great while the engine still runs clean!

In North America the traditional exit for a V8 Mustang is two long inky black lines on the pavement followed by a tortured howl on the upshift into second. Or you could fade away into politeful oblivion like this guy. Cripes he drives like an old woman, maybe his wife should drive:). Beautiful car though.

My ‘66 Mustang was just as sharp back in ‘75 and it had better sounding THRUSH side pipes. So there!!! Lol Joking aside. Both look and sound great. Damn what I would give to have that car back that I sold for $800.00! The 289 is/was a fantastic engine.

anyone remember the glasspack length on these and if they were an X or H pipe exhaust?
@user-ic4kw3vr6i
@user-ic4kw3vr6i 6 ай бұрын
They weren't x pipe it was straight and the glass pack of that time was smithies and, maroso or, you'd just unblot the header from the exhaust when you were racing it. The other glass packs were and still around are charry bombs.
