Ford Ranger 2016+ Tesla Style Android Head Unit Showcase

Hi all, here's a Tesla Style head unit for the 2016+ Ford Rangers, this system is a great addition to the car and gives you a completely new modern-looking interior to the car, as well as a plethora of new features that you're missing with your old SYNC 2 system.
This unit is enormous, and also hard to install. Still, the up-side is the fact you've got a fully functioning Android OS to utilise inside the car, meaning you can download your choice of maps, music and more onto the system's internal storage.
It's also got the option for wireless or wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allowing you to quickly pair to the system and utilise your phone's applications on the large screen.

There is a similar installation done by Linkswell which showed a complete guide of the install. Are these the same units you have?

It might not be 100% similar, but the installation process will most likely be almost identical, as these units are generally all designed to work off the car's original harness, the only difference may be in things like outputs, or unit spec etc.

How clear is the reverse camera display? Does it have a plug and play connection for the oem plug to be able to connect straight into the back of the unit?

It does work with the original reverse camera, however as the screen is larger, and the original screen was smaller, so it can be a bit more blurry than usual, also it does need some modification, not a straight fit into the unit, you can also fit a better reverse camera to this system
