This is absolutely a well thought out, and well executed project. word of caution...when making your cut, using radiused corners to be welded later more evenly distributes the load and are far less prone to crack initiation or failure. Same thing for fish plates on the outside...sharp corners aren't a great idea. You clearly have experience, and have done more than most could hope to accomplish in their driveway at home. Just sharing a tidbit that'll hopefully help out in the future. cheers!

Right where cut turns ninety degrees, predrill a hole so it’s a radiused corner, less prone for cracking

I like the way the holes line up for a guide. I was expecting some sort of jig to bolt to the two halves so they were exactly aligned.

I actually tried to use some angle iron on top and bottom on each side but it just didn't work well. Stay tuned, this weekend I post the video of it getting glued back together!

It's probably not accurate measurements but looks like everything works well. I don't know what is the right way to measure and transfer measurements to another frame. But yes amazing job.

New here... Why are you cutting two frames in half, I'm 3 minutes into the video and have no clue what ur doing. Being a car guy I imagine your shortening or lengthening the frame

I could have done a better job recapping the project. Doing a body swap on a 4x4 ranger, in the process found a rusted out rear frame, had a nice 2wd ranger frame that I used to fix the 4x4 frame. Check out the previous videos on my channel for the whole story.
