People on the internet: Why do you only have the factory engine? That thing is slow as hell. People in real life: Holy crap, who wants to go over that road, that fast? Me: That's way more bad ass than anything I'll ever own.

Everyone bitching about the rattles lol.. kid built a damn baja truck out of a ranger he got in highschool. Wtf you worrying about the squeaks and rattles for he just went 60mph over a whoop section of course there's rattles lol.

Dj Deertz I don't know about everyone else, but the reason why I'm bitching about this build is because the kid didn't even build it himself! It's his truck, yes, and he paid for it, but he gave it to a fabrication company, and that company built the roll cage. How should I be impressed with a pre-runner that sounds like shit when driving, while being built by a so called professional company? That's my gripe with it. Other than that, the truck looks legit. My friend built his pre-runner himself better than this truck, all fabricated by him. Took a Toyota Tundra, built w/as good of suspension if not better than this, full roll cage with seats in front and rear cab, headsets for each occupant, the whole works. Everything done except engine work. His truck would eat this dudes "professionally caged" truck any day, and sound quieter doing so.
@TakuroSpirit777 жыл бұрын
It should have rattles, yes. But for a One Take when you are trying to listen to Matt and the owner talk about the truck WHILE DRIVING, its hard with all those squeaks and rattles overpowering the audio. If any One Take deserved a voice over with some exterior shots/audio mixed in its this one.
@fondajames7 жыл бұрын
WeekEnd133 maybe he has a full time job or school or anything that keeps him from doing this work himself, there's nothing wrong with having someone else do that work. you're watching someone who modifies most of his cars and never does that work himself. people have lives outside of their car even if they love them they can't be expected to fully build and do all the work themselves. If you have the money but not the time to build just to drive then do it. it only helps the industry

I'm building my 2nd generation 4runner like this. so far I just did the manual to electric fan conversion for the 3. slow and next is my suspension. I'm just making everything oem for now while I save up for the long travel suspension with some kings and the Tacoma 4.0 engine swap, obviously I'm getting all the goodies. if you guys are interested I'll make videos of the build progress and stuff. 3" body lift and 2" suspension lift on 33" is how I have it now
