Does anyone here where the egr delete module/cable set up is legit or should you do it with plate bad disconnect hoses?..

I have a 2008 pj ranger 30ltr diesel and the engine is surging ntermittently as if fuel starvation had the fuel pump checked is ok all sensors have been cleaned as has manifold but is still doing it any idea what might be the problem please

No straight answer for that. I would start with fault code scan.
