on my 2018, power off and exit the vehicle, then cycling the alarm on and then off via key fob, clears this state. then it is good for 2-3 months, then ...repeat when it happens again. seems like a bug and not a hardware failure

You think it's the alternator but could be ground wire to starter at the starter I had this problem shop said was alternator after spending $600 bucks did same thing was ground wire at stater so bought alternator for no reason told shop and they refused to believe me and wouldn't give my money back thanks tuffy muffer in portage michigan so check that first

This just happed to my 2015 ford edge sport.....i tried starting the edge with a dead key fob, and then it did the same thing your edge did, dont if if thats what triggered it, but yea all the lights work and heat blows and headlights turn on so i know it cant be the battery....have you figured out the problem? Thanks

If you're key bob there's a place in console to place it too start or put battery in it mine said electric service system was lose ground after put a alternator on

@@jeffreylee8510 yes i even put the dead keyfob in the secret location and still wouldnt start....replaced batteries in keyfob and then car still wouldnt start, triple A technician came out and jumped it and started it right up! Scanned the battery said it had low power

Come on now. Title says one click fixed. That was never shown. Why would anyone say this video helped them? Do what? Anyways, our Fusion when this happened, we disconnectes the battery, count to ten, reconnect. Generally works. Sometimes could open and close door, brake hold, shift to neutral, shift to park, button; then repeat a number of times until start. Definitely sounds like a system or microcontroller bug.

I have a 2013 focus se 2.0l won’t start after i drive it. I checked battery was good, put new starter, new relays on starter and Ignition relay and new negative battery cable. I also used the other key. Also it seems when it warms up and gets driven it don’t start. But when it cools it seems to start again. I’m stumped! Any pointers?? Thanks in advance Great video!!!

Some starters get overheated which could possibly prevent them from starting. I've heard these scenarios before. You could try putting a heat shield on the starter. ...check the negative cable to see if it is 100% grounded with no corrosion. Also, make sure the terminals on the battery are tight and clean.

I put a new starter in it, new relays, new battery negative cable and also added another ground. Did relays on starter and ignition. Stumped going to check a few other things
