I am waiting for it as well. All it says is that is coming later in 2016. It also says that it will required a software and hardware update.

Tyler Fross I have it. Been using it for one week. You need to buy a new USB module and dl the new update on your own. Go on f150 forum.

I'm debating between a 2015 f150 platinum and a 2016 one simply because of the infotainment system. How bad was My Ford Touch on the 2015 models? Is it worth spending the extra money on the newer model for the newer Sync3?

I had personal use with both the My Ford Touch and Sync 3 infotainment systems, and the Sync 3 is miles better than the infotainment system it replaces. I would definitely get a 2016 F-150 because My Ford Touch would get frustrating very quickly

Yeah but the 2015 platinum is $10,000 less. At Carmax you can get a 2015 platinum for $40,000

Does this sync 3 let u see your pics or images from your mobile on the screen when usb is plugged into the system??? And Bluetooth is connected?? As it apparently adds your apps.!!!

+Trey K You would need to upgrade the entire sync system with new hardware to use Sync 3, it's not a simple software update. I did find this site which is offering SYnc 3 Upgrade packages. www.oemautopartsco.com/products/myford-touch-sync-2-to-sync-3-upgrade
