I'm enjoying following your process with the van build! Your dad's ability to create order from the chaos of his shop reminds me so much of my dad. The way you said "sixteenth" over and over! 😁 I know exactly how that feels! If your plan is to prepare food on that hideaway cutting board, I'd recommend a drip groove that stops just forward of where it pulls out of the cabinet. That'll save you some messy cleanups. You're doing great!

Fridge venting: don’t forget your fridge probably needs room to draw fresh air around the fan. If the plywood is right around the fridge vents, you may want to drill some holes to allow for airflow. Lesson learned here too! ❤

Good for you, Juliana! I'd be feeling proud of myself, too! Btw...I love the quartz counter tops. They really make the cabinet color pop, and so easy to clean & maintain. Very good choice. I know you're missing Leila. I'm sorry. I can't say you'll get over this, but, with time, it's not as acutely painful. The missing never really leaves, but the pain does. It definitely helps to have a new fur baby to take care of and to love. While you may not be able to imagine it right now, you will be able to love another dog.
