Amen! I have a friend in Arkansas that has a 67' F100 single cab, short bed, dropped 2in. In electric blue with a 5.0 and seats out of an 88 f150 lariat. It was the coolest truck I'd seen as a cruiser. I had the same truck but it was an 88' F150 xlt lariat single cab short bed in midnight blue. They're few and far between these days here in Texas.

I used to have an 88' single cab short bed f150 xlt lariat 5.0 . Still my favorite truck Ive owned. Handled sooo damn well for a truck. That was in 93' so I'm sure all the tech these days could really crisp up these old school 150's.

I currently have a 2011 super cab, 6½ bed with an MPT Performance race tune and that's around 390hp at the wheel with 472 torque. I couldn't imagine a coyote swap in it 😳. But if I had catastrophic engine failure I'd do the swap. Pretty good chance that If I did this is where I'd go. I support fellow Texans businesses.

I love all ford trucks from 1961- 1996, I also love some Ford cars from about 1963-2014. I love that crew can it’s badass, I’m currently working on a 1986 mustang coupe and a 1985 f150 ext cab body that I put on to a 1990 f350 reg cab 4x4 chassis . It’s unique in the fact that it’s now a one ton ext cab 4x4 short bed, it’s actually a bit shorter than a factory short bed of that year. I’ve never seen in my life a factory f350 ext cab short bed 4x4, that is until like 1999 or 2000.

The only thing I don’t like about some people that own cars with aftermarket turbos, they don’t put filters on them! Without filters on your turbos it will shorten the life of your engine

Its so worth the money and if you shop smart and do your own work it can actually be done much cheaper than they were talking in this video. When discussing this people talk about the power which is great you have 400+ stock and potential for double that but what is really awesome is not only are you getting way more power capabilities than your original engine is capable of without a completely built dart block but you're getting much better driveability even with a power adder at 800 rwhp...and you will get better mpg to boot which is unheard of to have that kinda power with that kinda driveability and reliability AND improved mpg. The newer mustangs get as good usually better than the old fox bodies if you have the same engine and trans combo as the newer car in a fox that is 600-800 lbs lighter the mpg is gonna be even better that is 600-800+ lbs less weight you're hauling around which not only makes it faster than an equivalent newer mustang but it gets better mpg than said newer mustang. That is all the reason in the world to go coyote over building the old motor and you got tons of support and you can then tune the vehicle just like you would a newer mustang. To me its a no brainer I wanna do a coyote swap 96-04 gt. The mod motor cars are easier to do you can keep much of the stuff that needs to be swapped with a push rod car like trans (3650 you can have it built pretty cheap) motor mounts, k member, brake booster and other things too...this makes it easier and lowers overall cost. The more they make the cheaper they're becoming to do.
