It’s still so original it’s going to be sad to see it change. With alittle work it’d be a museum piece.

The 1966 F250 crew cab is coming along nicely, without the barn find dust on it that finish is a pretty nice color and that finish is very salvageable. it's amazing to have the original paint on it and still look so good. that truck has survived like it was kept in a specialy controlled environment. that white cloudy residue is oxidation, quite normal for a finish that old but a pretty light case of it. that super clean is some awesome stuff, I swear by it and recommend it highly. it was originally called Castrol Super Clean, but then they changed the name to just super clean. warning be careful using it on aluminum parts because it contains muratic acid. and can take the shine off shiny aluminum parts, and can damage aluminum if left on too long. it's pretty powerful stuff you will want to use it in a well ventilated area and not in close quarters, the fumes are quite powerful and depending upon weather conditions you may want to wear eye protection. like an idiot I found out the hard way when I went to the car wash. I had some wheels, and tires, and some misc. parts, I wanted to clean up with the high pressure wand. and I wanted to do a thorough cleaning on my 1978 F150 2 wd. so like a dumbass I failed to pay attention to the weather conditions, and I didn't have eye protection. so I was down in front of the truck spraying super clean on the undercarriage, and on the suspension, and steering components, and out the blue a gust of wind came up and blew the super clean back into my face and eye's. and I could tell right away I had a serious situation on my hands. so I quickly loaded all the sh-uff that I had brought there, and make a bee line for the house. and when I got there I spent between a half hour and forty five minutes washing my eyes out, and after that I thought there's an excellent chance that I could go blind. next thing you know I'm at the emergency room, giving them my information and getting checked in. I ended up sitting there in the emergency room waiting room, for between forty five minutes and an hour. and after all that time the problems I was having with my eyesight was starting to subside. so I told them I going home they didn't like it, but I wasn't going stay there and wait even longer. I told you about me being a total dumbass with the super clean, so no one would possibly get hurt using it. so if none of you guys have any problems I'm good with it.

Is the engine the 240 or 300? Also, it's rare to see a 6-cylinder/automatic from that era.
