Then he was shut down when they showed he had 12 solo. The announcer hesitates and says "yeah, that's a busy day". he hesitated because you could tell he already had something in his head he was going to say about how solo tackles are more impressive and his 29 overall isn't that great.

I saw it more as a setup for a complimentary "...AND 12 were solo" rather than a negative "...yeah but ONLY 12 were solo" That's a perfectly normal ratio of solo to total tackles and I'd imagine a booth that tuned into the game he was having were in no way diminishing the performance.

Really reminds me of watching Wesley Woodyard at UK and Denver. Undersized, but knows how to slip instead of shed blocks, really good footwork, can cover the pass and is a sure tackler in the hole. Won't get many sacks or TFLs at the next level but is worth a flyer.
@charliemann19743 жыл бұрын
He has great hustle but if he wants to make it to the nfl he has to get lower on his tackles. He has to use his force to stop the runners momentum instead of getting driven back each tackle he made when he’s head up. Hope I see him in the NFL one day, he has a lot of potential.

He’s a damn good linebacker and makes excellent tackles in open field and in traffic and is really good at shedding the block. And what’s really disappointing is that even if he does this all year his name will still probably never be know but any of the NFL scouts. I hope that’s not true and I hope he makes it to the NFL bc any team would be very fortunate to have a player that has very good awareness of where the ball is

Smh. Please don't tell me you're serious. Lol. First round? Earliest he'll go is in the sixth but he'll prob be undrafted.
@sugargay71683 жыл бұрын
Bro you’re joking right? He’s a 6 foot tall, 235 pound inside backer that runs a 4.79 40 time. He plays at Fordham. It’ll be monumental if he gets drafted before the 6th round. Its much more likely that he doesnt get drafted period. He very well could land on a practice squad or maybe even sneak onto a game roster as an undrafted rookie, but you are smoking crack cocaine if you think there’s literally a .01% chance he’s a first round pick. I would stake literally my life on him not being one of the first 32 players drafted 😂

@@pat22nasty Yes. Sixth round. 2018 NCAA Tackle leaders 1. Ben Burr-Kirvin WAS (5th/2019) 2. Evan Weaver CAL (6th/2020) 3. Kenneth Murray OKL (1st/2020) He's comparable to Burr-Kirvin and Weaver. First off. This guy is a beast. To be around the ball that often is impressive. That being said, they padded his stats a lot. He was in 30 plays. It stopped at 30 not 31. He only made 22 tackles. Which is amazing and impressive. But there were several He shouldn't have got the credit for. Like the piles. He put his hand on the pile and got credit.
@JesusChrist2000BC3 жыл бұрын
Dude his tackling is better than some pros. Scouts don't care if a few were tacked on for being in piles they are looking at his motor and his effort and both are A+. He's a solid 3rd round pick.
