I saw Foreigner and Joe Walsh in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1985. Foreigner is, to this day, the best band I've ever seen in concert. Bar none!!! I've seen hundreds of bands since, and none could measure up to Foreigner!!!

Fact is, Lou Gramm before he became ill was second to none vocally in the rock & roll world. Singers come and go but the original front person of the best bands or solo artist whos voices and performances captured the hearts and minds of a generation should be respected & preserved. Would the stones be the Stones if Mick Jagger was replaced, or Roger Daltry of the Who, Geddy Lee of Rush ???? Seriously !

you are so right, i can't imagine replacing any of those great singers..only a few times a band has done it successfully..a/c d/c is one that comes to mind.. I was shocked to have read somewhere on the tube that The Who was considering firing Daltrey? wow that is insane..oh the other band that comes to mind was the doobies bros.. I liked both Tom Johnston and Mike McDonald..Although they are so radically different..but 98% of the time it is impossible.. I also liked both Roth & Hager.
