Yeah, I think Lou's only real issue with Mick now is the fact that the band does shows without Mick or Mick barely even plays. Also Lou ha never been comfortable with Kelly singing like him. To me sounding similar isn't really a problem.

Lou did that one night after his show at Pine Knob in Michigan. We had lawn seats and the head of security asked us if we would like to sit in the seats and we said yes and we keep going down closer and closer to the stage until we were front row and center and one song Lou is playing a cowbell and after he was done I was signaling for him to give us his drumstick. Instead of giving his drumstick, he handed my son his cowbell. After the show we were at the top again as we were walking I was explaining to my son that Lou was recovering from the removal of a brain tumor and this guy overheard me and asked if we would like to meet Lou and we did and he put his backstage pass on the cowbell and autographed it, we talked about his surgery and the probability was not in his favor and him leaving Foreigner, then he asked us if we’d like to see the stage and what it looks like to him when he’s on stage, I was dizzy just looking at empty seats, I can’t imagine filled with moving people, that it would be less dizzying. My son seemed to be unfazed. What a night. And my son was probably under 10 years old and had been playing drums, and now he in his 30s and play guitar, bass, keyboards writes and produces his own songs. These guys have truly had a love hate relationship with each other since around the early 80’s. Mick Jones really did Lou dirty by taking all of the money, and full songwriting credit for all of Foreigner’s success in their heyday.

Here's Lou... clearly just tolerating Mick. The guy literally split hairs with songwriting royalties and did ridiculous things like taking 75/25 splits on payouts for specific songs. Lou wrote, "I want to know what love is," and Mick said "let's do a 90-10 split." And when Lou Gramm said, why don't you just have it all, Mick took 100%.

I'm from Rochester New York and met Lou for the 1st time through his 1st cousin Karen Slade. Karen and I met at the Penny Arcade where we saw many bands. She took me to meet Lou at the Parliament lounge in Rochester when his brother Dicky was playing in a band Cock Robin. He is beyond any shadow of a doubt my favorite vocalist. I'm in Clearwater Florida with several originals struggling and praying to the good Lord I'll be able to get my songs recorded to bless others because it's all about glorifying Jesus Christ anyway.

When u hear some of the back stories during the mid to late 80s and even again during late 90 earily 2000s. You really get ani idea of how selfish Mick Jones was and still to an extent. Him wanting full credit on I Want To Know What Love Is when both of them actually had joint partnership over it and ended up getting it. Inside Information album was totally written by Mick cause Lou wasn’t interested and Mick at that point wouldn’t listen to any of Lou ideas either. When Shadow King came about and Lou and guys were trying to promote it. Foreigner being on same label tried to sabotage it from getting any radio play or nothing saying to company if it’s a hit album and or does well Lou’s possibility of coming back to the band would be slim. That’s why u don’t hear much about that project really. Then we’re able to rekindle writing friendship than Lou has his tumor surgery and Mick and label force Lou to come back when he needed to take time off for rehab. So I hope they really talked and straightened things out truthfully and made amends realizing what they had as a team effort.

Mick Jones is so full of it about the fan out in the rain..Lou Gramm has clearly stated that the song Juke Box Hero was inspired by his own experience of standing out in the rain without a ticket to a Jimi Hendrix concert and listening when the side door opened for seconds at a time..Mick is a liar as usual..but Lou tolerated it in this interview for the sake of maintaining the peace.

Lou doesn’t look well. I had Foreigners first four albums back in the day. Loved their pop/rock sound. They were called corporate rock back then, along with every other band that produced hit singles to sell albums.
