You are right John , here in the U.S. one day in a hospital would be way more than $5,300. Glad your guest got good care at a reasonable price. A surgery procedure and one night in the hospital , in northern CA , easily $150k. I like your camera setup , very professional.

The Hospitals here can nickel and dime You-That's for sure- The Doctors/Surgeons don't over charge but the Hospitals do....forget about the room charges- that's usually less than 2000 PHP per day (Private Room) - It's everything else the hospitals charge you for including misc. fees

Health insurance period is very important. My insurance has paid out $70,000 in last six months. Thank god I bought a great policy.

@@JohnSmuloTV there’s some very good doctors and some very bad doctors in the Philippines. I’m fighting a very serious infection from a doctor in the Philippines. I’m in Bangkok being treated. Thank god I bought excellent health insurance ten years ago. I would suggest the same for any expat. One day your healthy the next day your not. Trust me an excellent insurance plan will give you peace of mind. Once you get sick it’s hard to get good health insurance.
