I agree B.F., and always have. I got to see them in '82 (the following year of release) at the Inglewood Forum as part of the '4' tour. Fantastic! There's an aspect to that sax solo that reminds me of something that would have been a hit in the sexy, fun Roaring '20s; not the total nightmare '20s we're in now. '4' was really Foreigner's last album for many, many fans. Lou Gramm was very unhappy about Mick Jones' decision to go the 'cry baby' ballad route of Journey with the next album featuring "I Want to Know What Love Is". Millions felt betrayed, still do. Regardless, this was a peak album with 'Juke Box Hero' 2nd runner-up to Urgent. That will never change. We'll always have those 4 albums.

Also the key thing most singers dont do these days is ACKNOWLEDGE THE BAND. All the great bands from the 70s and 80s the singers would give nods, applause, or otherwise acknowledge that they weren't the only people performing the song, that it was the band as a whole. Lou is one of those people who acknowledges his fellow bandmates.

The song entered the U.S. pop charts the week ending July 4, 1981, and reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, holding that spot for the entire month of September. "Urgent" hit #1 on the Billboard Rock Tracks chart, a position it held for four weeks. The song was Foreigner's second-best-selling single (after "I Want to Know What Love Is") in both Canada and Sweden, reaching #1 in Canada in September 1981 and #20 in Sweden in March 1982.
